June 12-15, 2018

Catholic Press Association announces 2018 Catholic Media Conference to be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

We invite you to learn about this little gem of a city they call Titletown and join us for next year's conference! It's a city with a lot of heart and warm Midwest hospitality. Check back for updates as we add information on the conference!

The national shrine of our lady of good help

the site of the only approved marian apparition in the united states

The National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help is a Marian shrine located about 16 miles northeast of Green Bay in Champion, Wisconsin. It is the only Church-approved Marian apparition site in the United States. Here, the Queen of Heaven appeared to Adele Brise, a Belgium-born young adult immigrant, in October of 1859.

As part of the 2018 Catholic Media Conference, you will have the chance to attend Mass at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help and stand where Adele encountered the Blessed Mother over 150 years ago.

The Green Bay Packers

With a population of just over 104,000 Green Bay is the smallest city to host an NFL team and it's the only team owned by a non-profit corporation of individual stockholders from around the world! Beyond an impressive 13 national championships, the Packers are known locally for their extensive financial support of non-profit organizations. For example, the Packers have hosted the annual Bishop's Charities Game for 57 years, donating more than $3.9 million to help support Catholic Charities for the Diocese of Green Bay since 1960.

During the 2018 Catholic Media Conference, you will have the opportunity to visit and tour Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers.

Welcome to titletown!

Beyond Lambeau Field and the Shrine, several local stops will showcase Green Bay's midwestern charm. You might enjoy Titletown Brewery, ranked as the number one brewpub in the US by USA Today. Join us for Mass at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, the Mother Church of the Diocese of Green Bay. Take a walk or cruise along the historic Fox River. Wander around the weekly Farmer's Market or explore many other opportunities the city has to offer. Want to see more? Visit now.

It is the largest airport in Wisconsin, serving the largest metropolitan area in the state. It is fondly referred to by some as "Chicago's third airport" because northern suburban travelers use it as their departure hub. 12 passenger airlines serve MKE.
